Nov. 27th, 2011 11:54 amSo, Oregon Governor John Kitzhaber has said that for the remainder of his term, there will be no more executions of Oregon prisoners on Death Row.
One of those prisoners just called him a gutless coward.
Yeah.
It gets better. (For a given value of better.)
The prisoner wants to look into whether it's legal for the Governor to ban executions. He says, "I think there's got to be some constitutional violations. Man, this is definitely cruel and unusual punishment. You don't bring a guy to the table twice and then just stop it."
