Power's back
Sep. 26th, 2011 11:13 pmLast night, sometime after 8 p.m., the power went out in the building. This was due to a decent sized storm that rolled into town. Lots of rain, lightning, and so forth.
It took them until 7 p.m. today to get the power fully back on in the building. SCE&G were parked outside the front for hours.
So yeah, I get to look forward to throwing away what was a perfectly good jar of mayonaise and a few other things tomorrow. (Yes, it might still be good. It also might not. And it's only going to cost a couple bucks to replace it. Why take the chance?)
