So, the employment picture in the state is looking marginally better, as unemployment in South Carolina is down to 12.2% from a high of 12.5%. Some counties had unemployment rates as high as 16.6%.

Every time I think my job sucks, I just look at those figures and thank my lucky stars that I kept a job through all of this. Yeah, it might be third-shift copy jockey, but it pays.
