I used to like Hulk Hogan. Back when I was a kid. You see, over 25 years ago, I started watching pro-wrestling. Back then, it was limited to highlights shows on Saturday mornings and the Rock'n'Wrestling programming (including the cartoon show).

And honestly, if it weren't for Hogan and a few others, professional wrestling would not have reached the height of popularity that it still enjoys. There would have been no Stone Cold Steve Austin, no Rock, no Chris Jericho (to name a few).

But Hogan's day is done. And he's one of the few who doesn't seem to accept it. It would be bad enough if he was only pushing himself in TNA, but now there's the Nasty Boys (both in their mid-40s; Hogan is 56), the Honky Tonk Man (57), and whichever other friends he plans on bringing in. He's brought in Bubba the Love Sponge (a radio hack), who has already caused some problems, which have lead to Awesome Kong (Kia Stevens) asking for her release from TNA.

I don't think she's going to be the last. You see, Hogan generally ends up with a lot of influence backstage, due to his long standing in pro-wrestling, and stipulations in his contract. While TNA is getting a boost in ratings due to Hogan being there, it's almost certainly going to come at the expense of the talent that TNA already had.
