Back in #1!

Ladies and Gentlemen (and mithras),

I'm not sure why I haven't posted this before. Probably laziness.

There is a contest being run by Victoria's Secret, wherein the winner gets a paid spa trip to NYC. One of the contestants is a young woman named Casey, who is suffering from a rare form of cancer. Since this was brought to my attention by jblaque, I have been voting for her every day, in the hopes that she would win the contest.

There have been all kinds of skullduggery and basic internet shit-headedness going on in this contest. People using automated scripts have attempted to steal the contest for a variety of people, and such scripts were also used on Casey's entry in order to get her disqualified.

I am happy to say that the IT staff at Victoria's Secret has finally resolved a number of the problems with the contest entries and voting system, and Casey is back in the #1 position.

The contest ends on the 14th of this month.
