So, reading about the fires in California
May. 11th, 2009 12:03 amHomes being burned, the inevitable mudslides that will happen later this year... I've come to a conclusion. (Actually, I came to this conclusion a few days ago.)
I have a solution for this. No one in Southern California is allowed to own anything that makes a spark. Yes, this would mean that everything (and everyone) south of Fresno has to go back to a neolithic lifestyle.
Sorry, but them's the breaks. The laughter you hear will be the Native Americans over in Nevada, laughing at you from their casinos.
This is actually the eco-friendly plan.
The non-eco-friendly plan involves paving everything south of Fresno.
(Yes, yes, O brother Eric, I know I said Sacremento in the car. But then I looked at a map. Sacremento is just a little too far north.)
