Did someone not inform the customer base that this is Memorial Day weekend?

I have had to deal with, in the last three hours, more customers then I have had in the previous five shifts. Including, of course, the obligatory customer who got a major case of the chapped ass when I told him that no, I wasn't going to stop the large (as in, worth a few grand) job so's I could run his one color copy of... well, really, I can only describe it as a tie-dyed blob. Because the version of the blob he already had was the wrong size (as in, the size of his image file, not the size he wanted it).

So, I haven't seen it yet (and the reviews haven't been the greatest), but it seems that the Russian Communist Party (yes, there's are still some Russian commies) don't like Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Why? Well, apparently because instead of Nazis (or heart-grabbing Kali cultists) as the bad guys, the Russians are the bad guys. Now, as the movie is set in the late '50s, having the bad guys be Russians.... well, it does make sense, although I wouldn't have minded (or been upset with) the idea of Indy fighting Nazis that fled to South America.

But it's the quotations from some of these die-hard Commies that are just fucking hilarious.
"What galls is how together with America we defeated Hitler, and how we sympathized when Bin Laden hit them. But they go ahead and scare kids with Communists. These people have no shame."
Well, if the movie had been made back directly after World War II, instead of, say, 60-some-odd years later, you'd have a point there about the whole Hitler thing. As for bin Laden, it occurs to me that if the Russians had never invaded Afghanistan, there probably wouldn't be a fucking Taliban.
"Harrison Ford and Cate Blanchett (are) second-rate actors, serving as the running dogs of the CIA."
Ahahahahahahahahaha.... I'm sorry, do you know what the general politics of Hollywood are? You'd probably be shunned less by calling Scorsese a hack director who never made a decent flick, then by insinuating that a modern actor is a "running dog of the CIA".
"Our movie-goers are teenagers who are completely unaware of what happened in 1957," St Peterburg Communist Party chief Sergei Malinkovich told Reuters. "They will go to the cinema and will be sure that in 1957 we made trouble for the United States and almost started a nuclear war."
Honestly, guys... if your movie going teens in Russia are that goddamned gullible, how come the Communist Party still isn't in power? I mean, fuck if they'll buy the crap that Hollywood puts out as historical fact, they'll buy anything.

Dear Commies. Chill. Have another slug of vodka. Pray that Michael Bay never options War and Peace or whatever passes for great Russian literature.
