Downloaded updated video card drivers for the first time in, oh.... two years? Maybe a little less? City of Heroes is running a little smoother now, but I can still only put the graphics on "maximum" inside of missions.
I still want to get a new computer, though. This one is not dying by any stretch of the imagination, but it's old. And it shows on the HD size (40 GB, which means that I regularly have to delete things I have discovered I no longer use to make room for new things I want to try), the processer speed (1.7 GHz, which isn't horrible, but I want more damnit), and the video card. Actually, I've replaced the video card twice since I got this computer. Once to upgrade to actually render things nicely in DAOC, and then again for World of Warcraft, neither of which I play any more.
Still, once that $600 check from Uncle Sugar gets in, I might be using that (and a few other bucks) to get a new computer... and turn this one into an MP3 jukebox or something.
