Ladies and Gentlemen

They are elevators. When the door opens, you let people who want to get off on that floor off, and then you get on. It is not a point of conversation. You do not hold the doors open to talk to someone who isn't getting on the elevator, and you goddamn well don't hit any more buttons then you need to.
