I have voted!
Jan. 26th, 2008 09:57 amThe walk there wasn't bad, but I swear, the walk back was entirely uphill.
So, Obama is probably going to win South Carolina. But wait, what a shock, a Clinton has flip-flopped on what may be an important decision. See, here's the thing.... Michigan and Florida jumped their primaries earlier then the Republicans and the Democrats wanted them to, and the parties smacked them down. The Republicans stripped each state of half of their delegates, and the Democrats took it a step further and stripped both states of all of their delegates.
As a consequence of this, Edwards and Obama pulled their names off of the Michigan ballot entirely, and all of the Democratic candidates pledged not to campaign in either state. But now, Clinton wants those delegates returned. Which, of course, has nothing to do with the fact that she handily won Michigan and looks good to take Florida as well.
Of course not.
No, really.
Okay, I don't believe it either.
