So here I am...
Nov. 4th, 2007 01:01 amworking on the longest night of the year. Wait, I hear you cry, this isn't the Winter Solstice! It's not the longest night of the year!
Yes, that's right, except for this little thing called Daylight's Savings Time. You see, in a little under one hour, when it should be 2 a.m., it becomes 1 a.m. again. So instead of working an eight-hour shift, I work nine. (Well, it will probably be closer to nine and a half...)
And looking at my list of work, when is the next job (that I can actually work on) due?
Friday.
And it's got about a two-hour run time for the lion's share of it. So it will be done at 2 a.m. (the second 2 a.m., that is)
*sigh* bored, bored, bored.
