My urge to kick the shit out of random local bands is once again growing.

(as an explanation of the previous post)

Dear local bands, I don't really hate you. No, I don't.

Sure, your music may suck or it may be good. I really don't care. (Frankly, far more of you suck then you want to admit, but that's not my problem.)

But don't piss about. If you're going to make a band flyer, advertising your gig(s), don't download crappy web graphics, enlarge them 300%, and then have the balls to complain about it looking fuzzy. Here's a shocker for you... web graphics are generally, at best, 72 dpi. They may, however, be worse. Yes, it's possible. So called "high quality" images are also, almost certainly, 72 dpi. They're just much larger in dimension to begin with, so when you print it out on a sheet of paper, it looks really crisp because it's shrunken in size.

And for fucks sake, learn to use Photoshop. A goddamned image that's letter size and in two colors should not be 55 Megs.

Also, learn to play your fucking instruments. Some singing lessons wouldn't hurt either.

It is was too fucking hot. It's 91 degrees, and it's not even noon yet. (Of course, when I left work at 5:30 this morning, it was 80 degrees and the sun wasn't even up yet.)
