This just occurred to me...

In the original Star Wars movie, Princess Leia is being held in detention block AA-23. Presumably, there is an AA-22, and so on down to AA-1, and possibly even Detention Blocks A-1 to Z-whatever, before AA-1 (and up to AA-23)

The only real purpose of the Death Star is to go around and blow up planets. Just how many holding cells do they need for prisoners anyway?

And you notice that the heros didn't seem to give a tin shit about whoever might be in those other cells anyway....
