10 more work days
Oct. 3rd, 2006 03:14 am80 more work hours. More or less. Probably closer to 90, seeing as how I rarely leave on time, and I work alone each shift.
Two more weeks.
Then my vacation starts.
I'm not going anywhere, really. Part of it is a "can't afford to" and part of it is "where the fuck would I go?" I mean, South Carolina has some nice places to go to, but quite frankly, lots of sunlight and very clean air stopped agreeing with me a long ass time ago. (
mithras may recall the time I got very ill just from being outdoors in that park in Sumter. Although, pollen may have played a part in that. It also might have just been Sumter...)
Regardless, it's going to be nice to have a break from work. A little over two weeks where I don't have to worry about getting a dozen plus jobs done for the morning, no e-mails from customers at 6 a.m. for stuff that they "need" at 6:30 a.m., and not having to deal with students, stoners, and homeless people. Ahhhhhh...
I'm really going to enjoy it.
