I'm about 30 seconds from clocking out and going home, and I here two of my co-workers talking about hunting. I mention my belief that hunting solely for the purpose of trophies is wrong. (Note, I said it's my belief. You can and may have your own on the matter, and it doesn't have to match mine. Apparently, there's been some confusion over that lately...)
Anyway, I say trophy hunting is wrong. Because, you know, I believe it is. If you're hunting an animal for food, cool. If you're hunting the animal to protect yourself/family/friends, also fine. But anyway, this apparently came as a surprise to one of my co-workers, and I apparently went up in their estimation of me. Kind of cool, actually.
Mind you, they weren't around when me and Howard continued that discussion with the infamous Nugentism "You can't grill it, till you kill it." Not sure how that would have gone over... :P
