One more day
Apr. 15th, 2006 02:59 pmI have to work tonight, and then I get two days off. Well, those are my normal days off, but I'm rather looking forward to them.
You see, tomorrow is Easter. This, in itself, means very little to me. (Except that I might go to the grocery store in a day or so and buy peeps at discounted prices.) Well, it would mean little to me except that I live in a city that I consider is well-known for its religious fuck-tards. I have lost count of the number of times I have had to run jobs for various churches that were brought in at the last minute, because Lord knows they couldn't get their shit together for their Easter event, or their church's anniversary (because, you know, that shit springs up and surprises you. Rogue Easter celebrations have been known to attack random Southern Baptists in the middle of October...)
All I have to do is get through tonight. Then I won't have to worry about major religious events until churches forget to do their Christmas programs on time.
