It's better then having no digital camera at all, I suppose, but would it have been that hard for them to correct label the settings for "up close photos" and "far away photos", so things would actually be in focus when I think they're in focus?

This one is from Wednesday, when the mandala was mostly complete. All that is missing is the outer ring.

It's kind of hard to tell, but this has a diameter of about three feet, at a guess. Pretty nifty. I have no idea what (if anything) they did to the sand to keep the airconditioning from blowing little bits all over the place. Although, at where they were doing this, the closest AC vents are many yards away, so perhaps it didn't matter. I'm more impressed that no students screwed with it overnight.

Here's the mandala when it's finished. This is why I hate my digital camera. I could have sworn I had it set up correctly, and this is what I got. I didn't change anything on it, as far as I know. The only difference is about 24 hours between the shots.

Perhaps there is some obscure Buddhist reason why it's blurry. Nah, I'm just incompetent.
