Okay, that explains so much

I just watched the movie League of Extraordinary Gentlemen.

I had known, prior to watching it, that it bore little resemblence to the wonderful comic by Alan Moore. I am actually surprised that Moore did not sue the production company for saying that it was based on his comic, because, frankly... that's slander.

Now, I'm not saying this movie is shockingly bad. It's not. It's not a good movie, by any stretch of the imagination, but it's not... hrm... example... ah yes... It's not Catwoman bad. It falls above Hulk but below Spider-Man.

This does nothing but lend further credence to the idea that the movie of V for Vendetta will be, at best, bad (compared to the comic, which I will be ordering soon).
