[WoW-age] Damn....
Feb. 14th, 2006 06:13 amAccording to my "honor" stats, last week, I had something like 59 Honorable Kills, and almost 6000 honor points.
This week, I had over 300 Honorable Kills and at least 15,000 honor points, not counting whatever honor I got today. I had better make Sergeant... :)
Oh yes, switched over to Mining/Engineering for my level 60 Rogue (used to be Skinning/Elemental Leatherworking). Already at 125 Mining, 165 Engineering. My goal is to go Goblin Engineering so I can make bigger and better bombs to use in PvP. And since I'll be collecting the various parts I need for the bombs, I won't be out any extra money. Plus, once I get my Mining high enough, I will be selling excess Arcane Crystals, and finally start working towards my Epic Mount. I'm still undecided on whether I want to sink a lot of that cash into getting the Darnassus one or just go for the Epic Horse, but considering (relatively) how close I am to Exalted status in Darnassus, I'll probably go for the Epic Cat.
The most interesting parts of the PvP this week, though, was realizing that a number of the players on the Alliance side are complete and utter fuck-ups. Numerous Warsong Gulch runs where no one wanted to work together to win the Battleground because they're rather farm Honorable Kills. Apparently, some part of their brain blocks out that we get bonus honor if we win. Also, I got to tool several Tauren Warriors who apparently were under the belief that "Oh, it's just a rogue, I have nothing to worry about." Yes, I did get beat into the ground a lot too, but when I take a high-ranked Tauren Warrior at full health and utterly destroy him, it's fun. I can only imagine the reaction on the Horde side.
"WTF? I got killed by a rogue? I was at full health, and I got killed by a rogue? Who didn't even start out in stealth?"
hehehhehe
