Hrm. Must have been a slow news day.
Oct. 2nd, 2005 11:37 pmSo, having just got up, I check the news at Yahoo (along with several other sources, mind you), and there's an article with the headline "NFL fans tailgate with tacos in Mexico".
My first thought was "I wonder which team the tacos were rooting for?", thus proving that I'm not fully awake yet. Still, it also proves that it was a damned slow news day, and that no one at Yahoo is actually making sure their headlines parse correctly. And this amuses me. Amazing how that happens. If I am at work and encounter stupidity, it irritates the shit out of me, mostly due to the fact that I have to deal with the stupid face-to-face. At home, I can kick back and be amused by the stupid.
