Well, given that WW apparently does not want Cammies to try and use old name/disciplines at this time (as mentioned by the MST, among others), the whole "recreate the Tzimisce" thing is going on semi-hiatus. I'm still tinkering with the idea, but it's not going to be my major focus.

I've come to the realization that I really and truly don't have the slightest goddamn clue what I want to play in the new Chronicle. I toyed with ideas from the following clans and covenents: Ventrue, Nosferatu, Gangrel and Carthian, Unaligned (yes, I know it's not a covenant), Ordo Dracul and Lancae Sanctum. One of my first ideas was for a Ventrue Carthian whose sire was an Invictus. Sounded fun at first, but dimmed after a few weeks of tinkering with it. I then had an idea for a Gangrel Lancae Sanctum, which quickly morphed into a Nos Lancae Sanctum when I realized all the powers I really wanted from Protean were in the first couple of levels, and really, Nightmare is damn cool.

Still... a Nos Unaligned popped up, was tinkered with, and set back down...

The only clans that currently hold absolutely no interest to me (it should be obvious) are the Mekhet and the Daeva. Frankly, I doubt they ever will. The Daeva for the sole point that I personally don't feel the need to put on 300$ of clubbing clothes to get into character. (If you feel this is a grevious slight to your fictional character in a fictional universe, I recommend therapy.) The Mekhet... ehh... just not interested. No snide comment for a change. I suspect I may be mildly ill.

I'm thinking more and more about making a Mortal character for the Requiem venue... I saw several episodes of Kolchak, the Nightstalker and it stuck with me. I've been wanting to make an investigating type of character for a while, and with the current (subject to barely announced modification) final draft, I have the points to do so (unlike the previous "here are your meager handful of skill points" creation system). I'm picturing something along the lines of Kolchak, but with a dash of the X-Files Lone Gunmen (and a bit of Mulder as well), and a heaping spoonful of Spider Jerusalem.

I just have to sit down and write him up.
