Update thingy

taser, my former roomie, started moving stuff out today. He's been married for several months, but what with being newly married, and doing teaching assistant stuff and what-all, this is really his first chance to pack up stuff.

The phone and DSL are now in my name, and the DSL modem is now parked in my room, and no longer will I have to suffer the LAN Hub of DOOM! (In other words, no more buzzing monitor, rattling fan, or having to reset the damn thing on a daily basis to get good connection speed for web-surfing and City of Heroes.) Of course, now the phone bill and DSL bill are in my name as well, and that's just one more lovely little bill. Hopefully, I can stay ahead of the bills, but I don't really think that will be a problem. At least for now.

On a Cam-note, I'm still considering what, if anything, I want to do in the new WoD. Frankly, with no chapter in Columbia any more, and with me not having a car or reliable transportation to areas outside the immediate area, AND with working Friday and Saturday nights, anything I do in the new WoD would probably be restricted to IRC stuff, and given a choice between IRC and City of Heroes, the game where I can blast the bad guys and use /ignore on the idiots, and not have to deal with said umpteen whining idiots is going to win every time. (For the clue-impaired, that means that CoH wins.)
