When I got to work last night, there were a total of five jobs that could be worked on. A few more came in during the night, but by morning, the only job left in the system was a job that was at another store for some finishing work. Simply put, first shift had nothing to do.

I wonder how many jobs will be waiting tonight? Will I get to go home early?

Edit: 5 jobs, and I was home by 2 a.m. Sure, I'm losing 5 1/2 hours of pay, but I usually make up a few hours of that on the weekend.
