And so ends another day of work. I was there until almost 2 p.m. I normally leave at 7:30 a.m., or shortly afterwards. However, we had six big jobs all due tomorrow, and if I hadn't stayed to help out for a while, all six of them might have landed on the back of the other third-shifter. As it stands, one of the six can't be finished because the customer didn't get us all the needed supplies for the job, two of them were done completely, one was well on its' way to completion, there were at least two or three people working on one of them, and the last isn't due until 4 p.m. tomorrow, so it's probably going to be saved for last.

I also managed to get a few other jobs done while there, so I don't think I'll feel guilty at all when I don't show up for more overtime tonight. The money is nice, but I feel the need to punish the bad guys in City of Heroes some more. I also have another fiction/micro-story idea roaming around in my head, but I'm probably going to have to sleep on it before it works for me.
