Ate more sushi. The seaweed salad, as always, is excellent. The sushi is much better fresh made by the chef then getting one of the already-made packages that were probably completed sometime around 10:00 am (or three hours before I bought it.)

Went home yesterday, saw the parental units and the cat. Heard that the younger brother (Christopher) wants to get a dog again. Advised parents against that. Reminded them that the cat has veto power on all new pets. Showed my mom what peep-jousting is. She loved it.

If I can get some pictures of the cat at some point, I'm going to post them. She's a very pretty seal-point Siamese. And for all of you out there that "know" Siamese are vicious cats, or mean cats, well, you're wrong. You don't know how wrong, and it's obvious Walt Disney never owned a Siamese cat, which is probably where you all got that impression. So ner.

Work is work, only moreso. Thankfully, I have tonight off, as always. I've heard (again) that they want to move me to second shift, but this time it was mentioned that I get to keep the third shift bonus money if it happens. Mildly pleased by that, but we'll see what happens. Down to only wanting to inflict bodily harm on one co-worker. The number of customers who deserve sterilization continues to be high. (Well, maybe not that, but perhaps just a lobotomy... it's not like they seem to be using their forebrains anyway.)

Absolutely nothing on the girlfriend front, not that I've really been trying. When you don't drink, smoke, or do recreational drugs, AND you work nights, it seems to limit the social opportunities a decent bit. Oh yes, and I can't dance either. I also think most of the local "music scene" follows the Bart Simpson conundrum of both sucking and blowing.

Ah well... all in all, not too bad so far this week. Have to see how Tuesday goes, of course...
