Damn I love my insurance plan
Nov. 6th, 2002 02:54 pmOkay, for the first time since I started making payments on my insurance plan at work, I've used it. Went and had the first eye exam I've had in at least a couple of years, and I'm probably going back for a couple more tests as soon as I get a new insurance card and laminate it (so it can survive the trip through the washer and drier if I accidentally launder my wallet again).
However, because of the vision plan I have at work, I saved about $400 dollars on my new glasses (new frames, new lenses, various little extras on the lenses, magnetic sunglasses attachment, plus the exam).
Which means I'm not poorer then I would be without it. I think the vision plan part of my insurance just paid for itself for the entire year and then some.
