Actually, most of the farmers on Argent Dawn are not so obvious about it... what I'm referring to is that someone put up a very nice item (Alcor's Sunrazor) on the AH for an absurdly low starting price (40 gold) with a buyout of 2000 gold.

Well, naturally, I started bidding on it. So did a couple other people. It took a few hours, but I had the high bid at around 220 gold. (I would like to note that I had time to go to the grocery store and take a nap during all this. I wasn't on WoW for hours at a stretch this time.) The seller realizes that it's not going to do any higher then this, as it stayed at that price (220 gold) for over an hour and a half, and cancelled the auction.

Now, I do believe that they are well within their rights to do so, but if they didn't want it to go for such a low amount, why did they start it at such a low amount? And yes, it was back up moments after the auction was cancelled. Minimum bid of 1950 gold, buyout of 2000 gold.

It's a nice item, but it's not a 2k gold nice item.

I've played both sides, and maybe it's just me, but the Alliance has much easier going early on. And their quest rewards are a good bit higher as well.

Of course, I also haven't played in months largely in part due to playing EQ2 and Dragon Quest VIII.
