Is it possible to have arthritis in just one ankle? And nowhere else?

Yes. Arthritis is a condition that affects joints, specifically the cartilage. There's no reason why it couldn't affect one joint more than the other, or just one joint, if you have been doing something that would cause problems with that area.
BTW, are you working Friday night?

I have arthritis in both knees (worse in right), right ankle and both wrists, and in my fingers, worst in the second joint of my left thumb.
