Here's a thought... arm them
31 Iraqi police kidnapped
Yeah, arm the people who are supposed to taking over enforcing law and order. That way, you won't have 50+ of them being stopped and killed, execution-style. You won't have 31 of them being kidnapped, who will probably never be seen alive again.
Or you still may, but at least they'll have the chance to defend themselves.
I mean, that would go against all common sense, though. Arming Iraqis to defend themselves against terrorist fuckheads trying to destabilize Iraq. I mean, God knows, we don't want the Iraqis to ever be self-sufficient and able to defend themselves in the big bad "War on Terrorism", do we?
