Reason #5601

Why I don't mind not having a smartphone.

Because then I don't feel the need to check it/text/whatever while walking down the street, like some of the college students I saw today. What's worse, is a couple of them were doing it while crossing the street.

I felt much the same until recently. But my issues with freaking craptastical comcast make computer issues impossible. Sometimes my iphone IS the only way I can get mail and access info online at ALL these days.

Damn technology and modern life anyhow.

There is a time and place, and these people haven't been raised to KNOW that.

Why I wish I'd never gotten one: I've come to rely on having it's abilities, yet find myself angrily smacking the shit out of it because it's behaving like a windows 95 pc that needs a reboot or format.

Say what you will about the iPhone but I've had 2 androids so far and they both get detrimentally slower as time goes on, iPhones dont.

I've not gotten a smartphone because I don't feel like I lose that much by not being able to check the internet away from the laptop that I spend 50% of my day at already. And because I don't need to spend another $50 a month on a data plan...
